A bridle path crosses a small bridge over the Lawbrook - to be replaced by Star's military-style Bailey bridge.  

Egrets nest here in the reeds in what is part of one of Surrey's most beautiful  valleys. Wildlife will be replaced by an HGV turning area, then the 4-6m wide access road ascends onto Blackheath Common.
